國防部：堅決反對美臺開展任何形式的官方往來
MND: We Firmly Oppose Any Form of Official Engagement Between the US and the Taiwan Region
8月8日下午，國防部新聞局副局長、國防部新聞發(fā)言人蔣斌大校就近期涉軍問題發(fā)布消息。
記者：有消息稱美參議院軍委會主席近期可能率國會代表團(tuán)竄訪臺灣，如成行這可能成為2016年以來擔(dān)任該職務(wù)的議員首次竄臺。請問發(fā)言人有何評論？
Question: Reports indicate that the chairman of the US Senate Armed Services Committee may soon lead a congressional delegation to Taiwan, which will be the first visit to Taiwan by a senator holding this position since 2016. May I have your comments?
蔣斌：世界上只有一個中國，臺灣是中國領(lǐng)土不可分割的一部分。中方一貫堅決反對美臺開展任何形式的官方往來。我們要求美方恪守一個中國原則和中美三個聯(lián)合公報規(guī)定，切實履行不支持“臺獨”的承諾，停止與中國臺灣地區(qū)開展任何形式的官方往來和軍事聯(lián)系，停止縱容支持“臺獨”分裂勢力。解放軍時刻保持高度戒備，堅決捍衛(wèi)國家主權(quán)和領(lǐng)土完整。
Jiang Bin: There is but one China in the world, and Taiwan is an inalienable part of the Chinese territory. The Chinese side firmly opposes any form of official engagement between the US and the Taiwan region. We require the US side to abide by the one-Chine principle and stipulations of the three China-US joint communiqués, earnestly fulfill its promise of not supporting “Taiwan independence”, stop any form of official interaction and military connection with China’s Taiwan region, and stop conniving at or supporting separatists for “Taiwan independence”. The PLA will stay on high alert at any time and take resolute measures to safeguard national sovereignty and territorial integrity.
